From Ashes We Rise is a memoir about that process.

It begins during a period of my life where I believed I was moving forward, building, exploring, and creating a path of my own. But beneath that, there was a tension I couldn’t explain, a sense that something in me wasn’t fully settled.

I began to confront and unsuppress experiences I had carried for years, including childhood sexual abuse, and the quiet ways they had been shaping my identity, my decisions, and my sense of self without me fully realizing it.

What started as something personal began to reveal something larger.

That the way we see ourselves shapes the way we think.
The way we think shapes the decisions we make.
And those decisions shape what we build, how we lead, and the impact we create.

Because the way we metabolize adversity doesn’t just determine our own future, it shapes the communities, institutions, and culture around us.
